MELODY
MOCK





Melody Mock is an artist, musician and writer who has been involved in the Albuquerque arts scene since moving to New Mexico in 1996. While program director at Magnifico (1999-2004), she curated and/or directed many art exhibits, including the annual regional juried exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum. She was also curator at the Inpost Artspace at the Outpost Performance Space, as well as an online gallery of local contemporary art. From 2006-2009, she was the gallery director of Artspace 116 and project director at The Collector's Guide, a company that promotes the art of New Mexico through a printed guide and extensive web site.

She plays violin with Frank McCulloch y sus Amigos and E. Christina Herr and Wild Frontier. She also writes for Albuquerque Arts Magazine.

Mock holds an MA in art history from the University of North Texas in Denton and a BFA from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.
