Melody Mock has been involved in the arts scene in Albuquerque, New Mexico since moving here in 1996. While program director at Magnifico (1999-2004), she curated and/or coordinated many art exhibits, including the annual regional juried exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum. She also curated the Inpost Artspace at the Outpost Performance Space, as well as an online gallery of local contemporary art. She is now the gallery manager of Artspace 116, and project manager at The Collector's Guide, a company that promotes the art of New Mexico through a printed guide and extensive web site. Mock holds an MA in art history from the University of North Texas in Denton and a BFA from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. She most enjoys playing violin with a couple of local musical groups.
